Overview of the Project

The Government of Uganda in collaboration with Impiger developed a web application under the Development Response to Displacement Impacts Project (DRDIP). The solution was designed to address the basic social services of host communities, track refugee-related schemes, and provide a reliable monitoring and evaluation framework to ensure transparency and efficiency in project implementation.

Challenges

  2. Manual monitoring methods led to inefficiencies and delays.
  3. Difficulty in ensuring accountability across multiple stakeholders.
  4. Inconsistent evaluation methodologies impacted reporting accuracy.
  5. Limited data-driven insights for decision-making.

Approach

  1. Built a comprehensive MIS (Management Information System) tailored to DRDIP requirements.
  2. Implemented real-time tracking of schemes and projects for refugee communities.
  3. Designed a monitoring and evaluation framework to standardize data collection and reporting.
  4. Developed features for accountability tracking and transparent reporting.
  5. Ensured accessibility across government departments through a web-based platform.
