Overview of the Project

Impiger developed a tablet-based e-commerce portfolio application for Danube Properties’ sales teams. The app provided a seamless Point of Sale experience integrated with Oracle, showcasing product and stock details. It enabled sales representatives to add items to cart, create invoices, capture digital signatures, and manage delivery options while ensuring approvals on discounts and promotions through manager workflows.

Challenges

  1. Sales teams relied on manual processes for order placement and approvals.
  2. Lack of real-time stock visibility caused delays in transactions.
  3. Discount approvals were slow and fragmented across communication channels.
  4. Paper-based invoicing and signatures reduced transaction efficiency.

Approach

  1. Designed a tablet POS app integrated with Oracle for product and stock management.
  2. Added features to create invoices, capture digital signatures, and select delivery options.
  3. Implemented workflow for sending invoices to managers for approval on discounts.
  4. Enabled secure invoice sharing between sales representatives and managers.
